It is located on the slopes of Cerro Martial, just 7 kilometers from the city center. The glacier has a length of about 3 kilometers and an area of about 10 square kilometers. The starting point of the hike to the glacier is at the base of Cerro Martial, and from there it can be reached through a path that crosses a forest of lengas and coihues, offering impressive views of the Beagle Channel and the the city of Ushuaia.
