Suwon Nammun Market: Suwon Nammun Marke is a traditional market located in Suwon, South Korea. The market has a history that dates back to the Joseon Dynasty, and it is one of the largest and oldest markets in the country. The market is situated near the famous Hwaseong Fortress, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

If you’d like to better understand and appreciate Korean culture and history, this tour is for you! It was an interesting experience that brought to life aspects of Joseon history. The market tour at the end was meaningful as well in showcasing what everyday life for Koreans looks like. Kudos to Laura for her thorough explanation and for managing the tour well!
Laura, the tour guide was very knowledgeable and provided good history of Hwa Seong Fortress and Korean Folk Village.

Our tour guide, June, was absolutely wonderful! She was incredibly friendly and made us feel comfortable from the start. Her tour in English was excellent, detailed, engaging and easy to understand. Highly recommend!
The Korean Folk Village was great. Suwon Hwaseong Fortress was a little disappointing - maybe you need to see it at night. Tour guide Jenny was good and explained the sites well. I would still recommend this tour though.
