Itinerary

Heading to the Colca Canyon

  • Chivay

    At 07:00 am Pick up at the hotel and departure from Arequipa to the Colca Canyon. We headed down the paved road towards Yura, crossing Pampa de Arrieros and Pampa Cañahuas.     In the morning at 05.30 am breakfast at the hotel. Then leave for the Cross of the Condor where we will stay for a period of 2 hours approx. Place where you can appreciate in its greatest dimension the depth of the Colca Canyon and also the flight of the Condor at close range. Return to Arequipa we will observe archaeological remains, pre-Inca agricultural terraces and other panoramic views of Colca Canyon. We will pass through the towns of Pinchollo, Maca, Achoma, Yanque in the latter we will make a stop, where we can observe its typical Churches, its artisan center, the typical dress of its inhabitants, among others.
