Skadar Lake National Park
2 hoursAdmission Ticket FreeJust 20 minutes away from Podgorica there is Skadar Lake, the largest lake in the Balkans, the area proclaimed a national park, enlisted as Ramsar wetland of international importance, famous for its birds (about 270 species), fish, water lilies, rich cultural heritage, charming villages and the best Montenegrin wine. We will be driving around the lake, have a short walk and enjoy the view from nice viewpoints. As an option we can have a 1-hour beautiful boat ride among lilies and birds.Kotor Municipality
2 hoursAdmission Ticket FreeAfter half an hour of enjoyable drive from Saint Stefan viewpoint we will be in the old town of Kotor. Kotor is a true pearl of the Adriatic coast, with its magnificent walls enlisted as the UNESCO cultural heritage from 1979, among the first 60 places in the world. It is the city where about 50% of Montenegrin cultural monuments are located. We will walk down its narrow streets, take a glimpse into its hidden corners, pay a visit to old churches and, if you wish so, walk the old town walls protected by UNESCO as the town itself.
