• Rokko Alpine Botanical Garden
  
  Taking advantage of the cool climate equivalent to that of southern Hokkaido,
  this garden cultivates approximately 1,500 species of plants, including alpine
  and cold-climate plants from around the world, as well as plants native to Mt.
  Rokko and other wild flowers. Within the 50,000㎡ grounds, plants are grown in
  conditions close to their natural habitats, such as in the rock garden where
  alpine plants are collected, along mountain stream wetlands, and in the shade
  of beech trees.

  Modeled after the rocky landscapes of high mountains, this area allows you to

  A refined and beautiful flower that blooms in harsh environments where other

  Known as the 'Himalayan Blue Poppy,' this is a flower admired around the
  world. It is a very rare flower that blooms in the hidden regions of the

• The One-Day Flower 'Nikko Kisuge' (Daylily) / Flowering Season: Late May to Late July
  
  Flowers that open in the morning wither by the evening. The next morning, new
  flowers bloom and then wither again. In our garden, about 3,000 plants
  (approx. 1,000 subalpine type and 2,000 plateau type) bloom over a period of
  two months.
