We start in Oostend called "The Queen of the Northsee" because in the 19th century, during the reign of king Leopold II, was the most important and trendy Bathresort for richer and nobel families. "Belle Epoque" houses ,wonderful walk through the "Venetian Galleries" along the dique with view on the sea ,direction of the "Hippodrome," the race track,view on the "Royal Villa" ,Casino,and further to the old Fisher Port,where you can taste some delicacies of the Northsee. Visit of St.Peter and St.Pauls Church,build in commemoration of our first Queen "Louise Marie d'Orléans ",who had her residence ,at the end of her life, in Oostende,and even died here ( we can visit her royal residence ) Eventually, visit of the three-masted historical sailing ship " Mercator "build in Scotland under the Polar Explorer Adrien de Gerlache. After a small break ,we continue to "De Haan" a historical residential Villa Resort along the coast ,the only place where higher buildings with more than 4 floors are not admitted. A stroll through the romantic,wonderful lanes and dunes with "Belle Epoque " houses as Villa Savoyarde: during several months the residence of Albert Einstein. Then further along the Port of Zeebruges direction of Knokke,the most exclusive and luxury resort of the Belgian coast "Art Galleries, Casino, the most luxury boutiques of the country... On the way to the Nature Reserve "The Zwin ",short stop at the little white church from the Dominicans . Eventually a stop at " Moeder Siska" the fabulous Waffle House since 1832, where they really make the most delicious waffles from the whole continent ! "The Zwin" a walk through the nature reserve governed by the rhythm of the sea water with an exceptional wildlife ,and permanent interactive exhibition center . End of an interesting day!
