Highlights

Thist tour is travelled by few. You guide is not only a qualified white water and adventure guide but also has organized many trail runs and tripped most of the rivers in this area. He will fill you in with many stories of wild South Africa and experiences during your five days. This is a private tour max 3 people - I have not included meals other than breakfast to give us opportunities to do local meals when we can. We can also change certain excursions if required. This is your tour and I want to make it fun and interesting.
On an interesting note i will be joining a friend also over 60 years of age to paddle the Tugela River from source to sea in March 2024.

Johannesburg

  • Soweto

  • Mandela House

    A visit to Mr Mandela's house is a unique experience of this great man's early days in the revolution. Entrance Fee R60

  • FNB Stadium

    The home of the World Cup Stadium where the finals of the soccer world cup match was played in 2010

  • Apartheid Museum

    This is probably one of the most popular tourist destinations in South Africa. I must for all International visitor's to our country to get an idea of what happened during the apartheid era in our country. The visit is approximately 2 hours but enough time of 3 hours is allocated. Entrance Fee R 150 pp

  • Constitution Hill Human Rights Precinct

    We visit the Constitutional Court and discuss the history leading to the establishment of a court higher than the Supreme Court. The Court was built in a section of a the prison. There is also a tour of the prison where you can also visit a display and history of Mr Ghandi . Entrance Fee R100 pp

Drakensberg Mountains

    We travel from Johannesburg to the Drakensberg approximately 6 hours. This is a beautiful journey where we stop at a few small towns on a way to experience the rural areas of South Africa

Durban

  • Tugela Gorge
