Itinerary:
The day will begin with a visit to the Sydney Zoo. Here you can get up close
to the Aussie wildlife and even hand feed the kangaroos! From the chunky
wombats to the cuddly koalas, there are plenty of animals to see. Before we
leave, you will get to enjoy a First Nations talk from a knowledgeable local
guide at the zoo.
Next, we will head to the spectacular lookout at Echo Point to view the iconic
Three Sisters and the Jamison Valley. If that view wasn’t incredible already,
you will get to experience the Blue Mountains at even greater depths at Scenic
World!
Arriving at Scenic World, you will have a couple of hours to try out all of
the rides. View the mountains from high above on the Scenic Skyway and the
Scenic Cableway. Then journey along the forest floor on the Scenic Railway,
which is the steepest passenger railway in the world. You’re in for an
unforgettable experience with these three thrilling rides!
After an exciting day of exploring, we will make our way to the Homebush Ferry
Terminal, where the tour will come to an end. From here, you can take a scenic
ferry ride (own cost) along the Parramatta River back to the iconic Sydney
Harbour.

Irene is a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. We learned a lot about the history of Sydney and blue mountain from her.
Do not ever go for this tour! The driver and tour guide will happily leave you behind. And both the tour guide and driver will give you attitude too. The microphone did not work during the tour. Plus, I waited 1.5h before the start of the actual tour as the wrong timing was stated in the booking. No phone number was provided too, so I could not contact the tour guide and the driver when I got stuck at the blue mountains. This was my first booking from Pelago and I seriously regret it. Book somewhere else. Going on a tour with 50 other people is not great at all. The tour guide’s command of the English language was seriously atrocious as well! The driver here was really rude too. Go somewhere else!
Fiona is a great tour guide, lots of energy and informative. Our day finished quite a bit later than expected as tour members failed to meet up on time at the Scenic World - not Fiona’s fault and she was proactive in helping to locate a missing teenager. A good day tour to see the blue mountain and different Australian animals, but be prepared for a very long day.
