The cruise was very comfortable, with great commentary pointing out information about areas and buildings we passed on the way. The Koala Sanctuary is amazing, great to get up close to the animals. We caught the bus back to town. It is cheaper and gives a different view of the Sydney suburbs.
Captain is very friendly and nice to show his perspective and open for kids to experience the sailing.
It was an easy trip If I have done more research, I would have just booked 1 way for the cruise experience and took an Uber to a shopping mall (Indooroopilly) on the way back.
The cruise with commentary really helps visitors to understand the history of Brisbane and the Lone Pine Sanctuary as well as features of the riverbank. The Lone Pine sanctuary itself is truly amazing with hundreds of animals housed. I didn't regret booking only one-way so it allows for more time in the park and enables experiencing two different kinds of transport modes, namely ferry and bus.
Interesting and fun - I learned a lot about Brisbane and saw koalas and kangaroos!
