Highlights

The Tarangire National Park is located between the meadows of Masai Steppe to the southeast and the lakes of the Great Rift Valley to the north and west. Among the rolling area where the park lies, it occupies an area of 2,600 square kilometers. The perennial Tarangire River takes over the northern part of Tarangire. Through the cut ditches, the River flows upwards up to when it leaves the corner of the park, in the North West flowing into Lake Burungi. There are a number of wide swamps which dry into green plains during the dry season in the south.

Itinerary

Flying to Arusha Airport from Dar es salaam and proceed with Tarangire full day Safari game drive.

  • Tarangire National Park

    8 hoursAdmission Ticket Included
    Take a flight from Dar es Salaam to the safari capital of Tanzania or Geneva of Africa Arusha Town. The flight will depart from Dar es Salaam at 0700 am and arrive at Arusha airport at 0900am morning. Outside arrivals exit you will meet our representative for 10 minutes Safari briefing. After breakfast, your guide will drive you to Tarangire National Park. It will take 3hours to arrive at the entrance gate. Tarangire is famous for its large population of elephants, many species of birds, baobab trees and many other animals. It is also known for having tree climbing pythons. Late evening drive to your booked lodge for dinner& Overnight stay

Sunrise game drive at Tarangire and later drive to Manyara

    After breakfast, we will depart with picnics and drive to Tarangire park for a majestic sunrise Safari game drive. You will have the opportunity to see the scenery of Tarangire with its multiple land usages. Maasai with their livestock grazes in this protected area. Enroute arrive Lake Manyara continue with a game drive. Your Evening enjoyment with dinner and overnight stay at a booked lodge

    In the morning after breakfast, our driver will drive you to Lake Manyara National Park. The park lies and is bordered between the Rift Valley Escarpment and the dusty Masai Steppe. On the western side are a forest and also the alkaline Manyara Lake which covers the largest area of the park. Upon entering the park your driver will open the vehicle roof and you can then start your wildlife watching in earnest.

Sunrise game drive and flying back to Dar es salaam

    Today will be the last day with a half day safari game drive in Lake Manyara. You will go for an early morning sunrise game drive which is the best for spotting wildcats.Late morning you will check out the park and drive back to Arusha airport ready to take a flight back to Dar es Salaam of which will be your final destination
