There are several old buildings dating from different periods. Ancient fortresses dug in the rock, the remains of a mosque and Christian monasteries make the site an outstanding representative of the rich and eventful history of the region. The location of Curchi Monastery is of rare splendor thanks to the nature that surrounds it. It bathes in a green sea and plunges into a fabulous contrast with its white and red walls.
