Its easy and simple
The mobile tickets made it easy to board the train . This is a cost effective way to get to the airport on time. The instructions on how to exchange the voucher for tickets are redundant as mobile tickets were provided when the voucher was issued .
Online booking was easy. Train ride was smooth although departure time was delayed by 10 minutes.
Booking is easy but the instructions on how to use it is very unclear. I did not receive any email from Trenitalia, hence I can’t find the ‘check-in’ button. After much trial and error, I managed to retrieve the booking on Trenitalia’s website using my email and the ticket code. From that website, I get the QR code for getting pass the gantry at Milan Centrale. There is also a note saying that the ticket is automatically validated for the train time that I’ve selected ie no check-in’ is required. There is a button on the website to change the train time if you can make the original timing. After spending so much effort trying to figure out the procedures and getting the QR code, I’m not sure i would buy the tickets in advance again. It’s easy enough to buy at the ticket machine just prior to boarding.
