Surrounded by mountains, Jozankei is rich in natural resources. Located near
Sapporo, Hokkaido's most bustling city, it is a tranquil hot spring town that
offers a peaceful escape. This activity is a 1km canoe experience. With its
lush summer forests, refreshing breezes, and vibrant autumn foliage, it has
become a highly popular tourist destination. Ride a canoe through the canyon,
listen to the birds and the gentle sound of the flowing water, and explore
areas usually inaccessible. The water in the activity area has an average
depth of about 1 meter and a slow current. With a guide to provide
instructions, even first-time participants can join with peace of mind.

  • Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a guardian before signing up and cannot participate in this trip alone.

  • A canoe can accommodate 2 to 3 adults. 2 adults and 2 children can travel in the same canoe, but sometimes it may be necessary to split into two boats.
  • The guide will not ride in the same canoe with the guest, but will accompany him in a staff canoe. If you would like to ride a canoe with a tour guide, please inquire in advance.
  • The tour guide will put safety first, but since the trip is experienced in a natural environment, please participate with a sense of responsibility.
  • If you want to participate in the event with your pet, the pet must wear a life jacket (pet life jacket rental costs 1,000 yen per time, please pay on site).
