The MARCO DAS TRÊS FRONTEIRAS or popularly known in the region as “the 3 landmarks”, is a place where the two important rivers for the region meet, the Iguaçu River and the Paraná River.

The spaces are visited by tourists from all over the world, because in addition to this union of rivers, there is another factor that attracts a lot of visitors' attention, and that also justifies the name given to the attraction. We are talking about the triple border formed by Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina.

The union of the rivers forms an equilateral triangle, on each side there is a nation with a small obelisk in the colors of its respective national flag, which can be seen from either side. For example, if you are in the Brazil landmark, you can see the Argentina landmark and the Paraguay landmark, that is, they can be seen regardless of which side of the country you are on.
