Visit two of northern Peru’s most important ancient temples on this tour from Trujillo to the Temple of the Sun (Huaca del Sol - just overview) and Temple of the Moon (Huaca de la Luna), which together make up the Huacas de Moche, aka Temples of Moche. With a knowledgeable guide, tour the site, staring in wonder at the size of the large temples and learning about their significance to the ancient Moche people. You’ll also see Moche artifacts at the onsite museum.

We visit archeological site of Chan Chan, declared the largest ancient city in South America. As the former center of Chimu politics and commerce, the 7-square-mile (18-sq-km) site boasts shrines, cemeteries, ceremonial plazas and reservoirs. Tour all of the significant features with your guide, discovering architectural precision and delving deeper into its ancient history. After the archeological visit we will be visiting the museum where you could find all the artefacts that were found on Chan Chan.
