👍🏻 Easy to book on pelago, love the convenience that they sent the pdf through WhatsApp. Don't need to exchange for physical tickets, just scan your QR code on the way out (after the ride) and you're done!

It was effortless using the voucher. We didn’t have to exchange it for a ticket but just board the train in the reserved seating car. The journey was scenic and a must visit if you are in Arashiyama.

I was afraid of being confused when I arrive but the Sagano train station is outside of the main JR station so it was super easy to identify and enter. Friendly staff stationed around will help you if need be, but I quickly showed my e-ticket on my smartphone to the attendants at the platform entrance and was directed to my car. I found my seat and really enjoyed the experience! The scenery was fanatastic even during summer and absolutely gorge-geous. I loved how the train staff would give running intro (even though I didn't understand most of it) but it would help with the mood. Great value for such an experience!
