The area is renowned for attracting whales, this tour enjoys a 98% sighting success rate. We went in May and saw killer whales, harbour seals and California sealions. Other species may be sighted at other times of the year… worth checking before you book. Check the weather forecast too!
Traveling to Steveston from downtown Vancouver takes about 45 min to 60 minutes by cab. The vessel used for this tour is sheltered, rather than the open-air dinghies used for smaller tour groups. We saw killer whales, harbour seals and sealions in May. Different whales may be viewed at different times of the year.
