Highlights
On this tour we start from the beautiful cocora valley until we reach one of the mid-mountain farms with the best viewpoint to the Cárdenas river canyon, which is part of the birth of the Quindío river. We can walk along paths full of history, through the high Andean forest and we will appreciate the best of the flora and fauna, near the Los Nevados National Park.

Admission Ticket FreeWe start at 8:00 a.m. from the main square of Salento. After breakfast, we took a 4x4 transport along the old national road to the boundary between Quindío and Tolima, with stops at viewpoints to the central mountain range. From 3,400 meters above sea level we begin the descent to the La Carbonera estate, where we will meet on the wax palm and begin a 4.5 km hike to the La Leona estate, where we will enjoy a typical drink and lunch.
