The Island of Itamaracá is formed by several beaches, almost all of calm and crystalline waters. One of the tourist attractions on the Island is Praia do Forte Orange, from where you can make the crossing, by boat or raft, to the Crown of the Plane. The Island has both quiet and uncrowded beaches, as well as busier beaches. Jaguaribe, for example, has bars and restaurants, as well as hosting the traditional presentation of Ciranda da Lia.
