The Tulungrejo Trail, located in Blitar Regency, is one of the most popular routes to visit Mount Kelud from Malang. This route offers a different experience from other trails, as well as interesting natural scenery along the way.
The hiking trail from Tulungrejo to the summit of Mount Kelud generally starts from the hiking post at the foot of the mountain. The hike passes through tropical forests, volcanic soil, and naturally arranged boulders. Climbers can enjoy the unspoilt natural atmosphere, with cool air and views of the active crater from a distance.

After about 3-5 hours, depending on your speed and physical condition, you will reach the top of the mountain. At the top, you will be presented with a view of an active crater containing a beautiful blue crater lake, as well as unique volcanic formations.
