  Welcome to Argentina’s southernmost city! Ushuaia is a small town, really easy to get around on foot. The Yamanas, its first inhabitants, called it Ushuaia which means “protected bay” in their language. It was officially incorporated into the Republic of Argentina in 1884, and it soon became a penal colony, in order to establish a permanent Argentine settlement. Upon arrival at Ushuaia Airport, you will have a shared transfer to your hotel.

  We will pick you up from your hotel in the early afternoon and will drive you in a 4x4 on a small group shared Off-Road 5-hour tour. You will pass by beautiful lakes and through a wonderful valley surrounded by snowy peaks. We will drive through the Garibaldi Path; the only road crossing the chain of the Fuegian Andes and also a panoramic viewpoint from where we will see Lake Fagnano and Lake Escondido.

  Continue downhill and begin your off-road experience through the forest, along with a series of old paths approaching Lake Fagnano, the fifth largest in Argentina. As the afternoon sun tinges the mountains, the stops through the forest and the coast ensure the enjoyment of this landscape. Later, there will be free time to walk before comfortably having dinner in an exclusive refuge. At the end of the tour, you will be driven to your hotel. **We recommend having lunch before starting the activity. **Occasionally, one of the sections to or from the place where the 4x4 adventure takes place might be done in a minibus for added comfort and convenience for the passengers. **This tour operates only from October 15th to March 15th. **IMPORTANT: To take this tour, your arrival flight should land off at 12:00 PM or earlier.
