Program Contents: 1) Host introduction, overview of the program (10 minutes) 2) Lecture on kintsugi techniques, selection of bowl to work on (10 minutes) 3) Kintsugi workshop (100 minutes) The host has a selection of chipped or cracked bowls from which to choose for your kintsugi project. Under the host’s guidance, you will fill the damaged areas then sprinkle with gold or silver powder for a final product that celebrates the beauty of the bowl in all its imperfections. After drying, the host will package your completed bowl to take home. IMPORTANT As our Masters are authentic, working professionals — often occupied with performances, exhibitions, or the refinement of their craft — we need to coordinate with them before we are able to confirm a booking. Once a booking has been placed, we will contact the Master and be in touch shortly with a formal confirmation and further information regarding your experience. Should the Master not be available for your desired date and/or time, the booking will be cancelled from our end and you will be fully refunded.
