Highlights

You will visit the Lake Shikotsu Ice Festival in the evening, where the pure white ice formations glow in a variety of colors and create a magical atmosphere.
This is a limited-time course that operates during the Lake Shikotsu Ice Festival, an event held along the lakeside of Lake Shikotsu. The ice sculptures are made using the highly transparent lake water, and the many works of ice art illuminated in different colors create scenery that feels both fantastic and mystical.


※Admission to the Lake Shikotsu Ice Festival is not included in this course. Please pay individually.
(Adults 1,000 yen, children of elementary school age and younger are free.)

    National Route 12 　　　Sapporo Minami IC 14:38～15:00　Wattsu PA (Short break)【22 min】 　　　Chitose IC 16:00～17:30　Lake Shikotsu Lakeside (Stroll and Ice Festival Visit)【90 min】 　　　　　　　　　※The illumination starts at 16:30 　　　Chitose IC 18:30～18:45　Wattsu PA (Short break)【15 min】 　　　Sapporo Minami IC 　　　National Route 12 19:20　Sapporo Factory (Optional drop-off) 19:25　Sapporo Clock Tower (Optional drop-off) 19:33　Sapporo Station

  • ※Admission to the Ice Festival is not included. Please pay individually. (Adults 1,000 yen, children of elementary school age and younger are free.)

    ※Viewing time at the festival site may be shortened due to traffic congestion. If arrival at Lake Shikotsu is delayed, you may not be able to see the Ice Festival. ※The venue is very slippery. Please take extra care when walking. ※The venue is very cold. Please participate wearing warm clothing. ※The tour does not stop at New Chitose Airport or Minami Chitose. Please note this in advance. ※There are no rest areas or shops inside the festival venue. ※Although the festival is held within the Shikotsuko Onsen area and there are several shops, many of them may close around 17:00. It is recommended to purchase light snacks immediately upon arrival at Lake Shikotsu or at Wattsu PA.

Restrictions
If you are participating in a wheelchair, please be accompanied by a companion.
The child fare applies to children from elementary school age up to junior high school age.
Children younger than elementary school age may ride for free if they do not require a seat. If a seat is required, the child fare will apply.
Required items to bring & attire
Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for walking.
Requirements
Please exchange your ticket at the Regular Sightseeing Bus Ticket Counter located next to the taxi stand at the North Exit of Sapporo Station at least 15 minutes before the departure time.
Information regarding boarding the bus will be provided when you exchange your ticket.

※Drivers and tour guides undergo a pre-duty check to confirm their physical condition, including signs of fatigue or illness.
・Please take your trash with you when you leave.
