We really enjoyed our tour of the Accademia with Rosa! Rosa is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the art and history, and it’s clear she has many years of experience. She took her time explaining the pieces and gave us more time than we expected, which we appreciated. Seeing David was incredible, and having Rosa provide the history and details made the experience much more meaningful than simply walking through on our own. Yes buying your own ticket would be more economical but joining this tour allowed us to gain a deeper insight into the art at the Accademia, and appreciate Michaelangelo’s sculptures more. Our guide for the tour was Martina and she had a wry sense of humour that had us chuckling throughout. Well worth it!
