Highlights
Travel about 1.5 hours west of Sydney to visit the UNESCO-listed Blue Mountains. This popular region is known for its sandstone cliffs, valleys, waterfalls, and eucalyptus forests.
Stop at Echo Point to see the Three Sisters rock formation and the Jamison Valley. Your guide will share information about the area’s Aboriginal history.
Continue to Scenic World, where your Unlimited Discovery Pass includes all three rides. Ride the steep Scenic Railway into the valley, take the Scenic Cableway over the rainforest, and cross the valley on the Scenic Skyway with views of Katoomba Falls and surrounding cliffs. Enjoy time to explore the rainforest boardwalks at your own pace.
Next, visit Cahill’s Lookout for views of the Megalong Valley. Then head to Leura Village, where you’ll have free time for lunch (at your own expense), shopping, or a café break.
Finally, return to Sydney in the afternoon.

Coming from Singapore, my family & I enjoyed Blue Mountains completely. It was both scenic & majestic and had been an amazing experience. We have a 4 yr old girl and decided half day was sufficient for the experience. The bus came a little late and stopped opposite the meeting point so we didn’t know we spotted it and the guide calling us. Our guide was a nice Japanese lady who shared the stories of historical monuments and some fun facts of Australia as the bus drove us to the mountains. There was a little hiccup towards the end where the bus broke down and we needed to wait for another bus to pick us up for lunch. The service recovery was decent. And the guide went on to explain the options around for lunch and bought us a hot cuppa as a way of an apology for the delay.
