Las Verapaces are popular for all their flora and fauna. This will be a 1.5-hour trip full of wonderful landscapes and greenery. Sit back and enjoy the road. The indigenous people of this region believe that the “Heart and Spirit of the Mountain” is the giver of life, similar to Mother Nature. We will see the bamboo forest, great waterfalls, rivers, and natural pools, and if we're lucky enough we'll watch the Resplendent Quetzal, Guatemala's national bird.
