Highlights

On this half-day tour, you will be travelling from Kyoto to two UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Nara. The Todai-ji Temple is the head of all Buddhist provincial temples, with its main hall being the world's largest wooden building. Meanwhile, the Kasuga Taisha Shrine is the most celebrated shrine in Nara and is known for its lantern displays donated by worshipers. You will also get to see wild deer up-close at Nara Park, and enjoy the window views of Kyoto's suburbs on the way to Nara.

Itinerary

  • 01:20 PM

    Make your own way to the meeting point at Sunrise Tours Desk in Kyoto Avanti B1F. Start of tour by departing from Kyoto. Visit Kasuga Taisha Shrine and access Main Sanctuary special visit area. Arrive at Nara Park. Head to Todai-ji Temple.

  • 6:20 PM

    End of tour with drop-off at Kyoto Station.
