~ About Hitsujigaoka Snow Park ~
Hitsujigaoka Snow Park is a spot close to downtown Sapporo where you can
experience a variety of snow activities. It is a winter-exclusive snow play
event held annually at the Sapporo Hitsujigaoka Observation Hill. Best value!
All activities are free with just the admission fee! No extra charges at all!
The biggest appeal of this snow park is that by simply paying the admission
fee (Adults 1,000 JPY / Child 500 JPY), you can enjoy unlimited play on all
snow activities within the park. Popular activities like snow tubing, cross-
country skiing, snow striders, and igloo experiences can all be enjoyed with
no additional fees. You can basically come empty-handed. Equipment for cross-
country skiing (skis, boots, poles) is all available for free rental. Access
from the center of Sapporo is extremely convenient via subway and bus. It is
perfect for travelers who want to experience authentic snow play without
traveling far. It is a great spot for families and friends to easily
experience a Hokkaido winter without worrying about costs.
