What you’ll experience:

• Enjoy a fully hands-on session and learn to brew 6 iconic Vietnamese coffees.
A gentle part of this workshop also supports children’s education at our Da Lat coffee farm, where families have cared for their land for generations.
NOTE: We’ll be enjoying a lot of coffee, so it’s best to have a light meal beforehand!

Su Quan Roastery
Step into our Indochine-style villa hidden in a quiet Hanoi alley and explore Vietnamese coffee at its roots. Guided by a trainer with over 10 years of experience, you’ll uncover how coffee arrived in Vietnam, how it grows, and why it became a defining part of life along the World Coffee Belt. Discover different coffee beans, brewing tools, and roasting methods. Learn how to recognize authentic, well-crafted beans and understand what truly makes a great cup of coffee. Then enjoy a fully hands-on session, crafting 6 iconic Vietnamese coffees; Phin Coffee, Egg Coffee, Iced Coffee with Condensed Milk, Coconut Coffee, Pour-Over, and our Signature Coffee Cocktail with Jam & Local Wine. Enjoy your creations with pastries in a peaceful garden setting. A gentle part of this experience supports children’s education at our Da Lat coffee farm, where families have cared for their land for generations. Our villa can host groups up to 100 guests; just let us know if you’re booking for more than 15.

I had a great time with Chris as my instructor. He engaged with us enthusiastically and through our 2.5h session, we got to try 4 different types of coffee (black, egg, brown and coconut) and 3 liquors (apricot, crab apple and mulberry) and make 1 cocktail with the liquor of choice. The location is also only 10 minutes away from HCM Museum, so it's worth a visit if you're in the area.
Really enjoyed the coffee workshop with Mark! He was very friendly and patient, and did a great job explaining everything clearly. I especially liked that he explained not just the recipe, but also the reason behind each step and how small changes can affect the taste of the coffee. The class was easy to follow, informative, and enjoyable. You can really tell that Mark knows his coffee and enjoys sharing his knowledge. Highly recommended!
Very tasty coffee and the host did a great job introducing Vietnamese coffee to all of us.
