Itinerary

  • 09:30

    Skyrail Rainforest Cableway: Travell on Skyrail Rainforest Cableway from Smithfield Terminal. The 7.5km Skyrail journey takes 40-50 minutes, however we recommend you spend time at the two stations enroute: Red Peak Station and Barron Falls Station

  • 10:25

    Arrive at Kuranda Village: Wander through Kuranda Village, the picturesque Village in the Rainforest

  • 11:15

    Heading to Rainforestation Nature Park: Please be at the bus stop outside the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary to transfer to Rainforestation Nature Park

  • 12:00

    Army Duck Rainforest Tour with tropical Fruit Orchard : Travel deep into the rainforest on both land and water as your guide explains different species of flora and fauna

  • 12:45

    or 13:30 Transfer to Kuranda Village: Depart Rainforestation Nature Park for your transfer into Kuranda Village. Alternatively, you may wish to stay longer at Rainforestation for lunch in the restaurant

  • 15:00

    Kuranda Scenic Railway: Be at Kuranda Railway Station for the 3:30pm train. The Scenic rail journey takes 1 3/4 hours through to Cairns Railway Station (Please do not disembark at Freshwater Station)

  • 17:15

    Head back to your accommodation: Your coach will be at the Cairns Railway Station to transfer to your accommodation

  • Please note that for daily departures and avoid tour cancellations due to low numbers, the tour may involve using the same vehicle to carry several different tour itineraries

Reminders
Please arrive at the designated location 15 minute(s) before the scheduled departure time, as the tour will depart on time
Passengers that fail to arrive before the meeting time will be classed as no-show without any refund
In the event that the train or cable car service is unavailable due to regular maintenance, it will be replaced by bus. Please note that refunds and cancellations will not be provided in that case
Operational times for traders can vary seasonally and may change at short notice. It will be recommended that passengers visit Kuranda markets to check for up-to-date opening hours
The tour operator will try to keep travllers safe during the tour, but the operator can't be responsible if something gets lost, damaged, or taken
Please note that due to operational reasons, bookings made from October 1st 2023, the itinerary will change to Skyrail up and Train down (And the time may be subject to change)
