Wait for the physical copy of your redemption voucher to be sent to you, remember to bring it, then I would suggest redeeming it at the airport (when you first arrive) then you can start making reservations for your trip. You can make up to 6 for free and you can start making the reservations before your pass is activated.

Love the pass! Was using it to cover the train up to takayama from Nagoya and back. And it provided the to and fro to shirakawago + some discounts for purchasing city bus in Nagoya, and some sites visit (takayama) too!

Fantastic n super worth for the value. Really able to make full use of the pass. From Nagoya stn, i travelled to Takayama, to Toyama, to Kanazawa too (on Hokuriku Shinkansen). Travelled down also to Gero for onsen stay and 5th day back to Nagoya station. Out of the 5days, i also took Nohi Bus at Takayama bus center to Shirakawago with this pass (But make sure to choose unreserved timings n reach bus terminal earlier to queue up).
