The temple was constructed in 1818 on the grounds of an older temple dating back to 1527. Inside Wat Aham, you will find a main Buddha image, a large sitting Buddha placed on a detailed pedestal, accompanied by several smaller images.

    Wat Wisunarat dates back to 1513 and named after King Wisunarat (Visoun), who ruled Laos from 1501 until 1520.
