Appreciate the serenity and natural landscapes of the Middle Atlas region and spend a day exploring Southern Morocco's beautiful Cascades d'Ouzoud. Waterfalls, cascading 100 meters over rocky ledges and cliffs into emerald pools surrounded by lush vegetation, is an easy day trip from Marrakech yet worlds away.

Enjoy a nice walk along the cliffs where you can enjoy the spectacular falls from various vantage points. You may even wish to hike to the nearby Wadi el-Abid gorge or take a dip in the refreshing pools below the falls. Small boat rides under the falls for a totally different perspective is also possible. Macaque monkeys are permanent residents of the area and sure to be spotted.
