With significantly less light pollution than the main island of Okinawa, you can see 84 of the 88 constellations, the Southern Cross, and countless shooting stars. Itinerary
Kabira Bay
Unlike other tours held near the bright city center, our tour takes place in Kabira Bay—a premier scenic area away from city light pollution (about 30 mins away). Free private round-trip transportation is included, so you can relax while we bring you to where the stars shine brightest. Your guide is a professional photographer who is also a certified Starry Sky Sommelier®. Using a green laser pointer, they will highlight constellations and explain the night sky in fluent English while capturing stunning, high-quality portraits of you. We are the only tour operator on Ishigaki Island offering a full English stargazing photo experience! Within 1 week of the tour, you will receive professionally edited, high-resolution digital photos to treasure forever. (A "Star Sommelier" is a certified guide trained to help you discover and enjoy the mysteries of the universe, accredited by Yamagata University.)

Really cool experience. Our guide helps with setting up each shot, fixing the lighting, etc. He also pointed out interesting stars and constellations in the night sky. Transportation was provided to and from our hotel.
Good experience and Saito-San was very responsive in communication, as the tour is dependent on weather and cloud cover. Managed to see many stars on my last night; after previous day’s were cancelled due to weather. Saito-San does a good job in explaining the constellations.
