It was a pity we couldn’t board the TSS Earnslaw, but I really appreciate that RealNZ emailed us in advance to inform us. Grateful that they arranged a smaller passenger ferry instead, which actually turned out great—we didn’t have to squeeze with too many people and could enjoy a more relaxed ride to Walter Peak. The farm experience was lovely, with all the animals well cared for. We especially enjoyed the farm show and sheep shearing demonstration, and the afternoon tea was absolutely delicious!
