Highlights

Departure at 03:00 am or 04:00 am (breakfast stop in Ocosingo) visit to the Waterfalls of Agua Azul, tour and food on site (not included). We continue the route to the Misol-Ha waterfall, beautiful waterfall with a height of almost 40 meters. Tour of the Archaeological Zone of Palenque, impressive Mayan city, witness to one of the most important archaeological finds such as the Temple of the Inscriptions, as well as other important buildings: The Palace, Temple of the Sun, the Cross and the Foliated Cross. Return to Tuxtla Gutierrez or San Cristobal de las Casas.

    Palenque was together with Tikal and Calakmul one of the most powerful cities of the Classic Maya, seat of one of the most notable dynasties to which Pakal belongs, whose tomb was discovered in 1952 by the archaeologist Alberto Ruz L’Huillier. On the tour you will learn about this fascinating history and we will teach you about the architecture of its buildings.

  • Cascadas de Misol-Ha

    Misol-ha means "sweeping water" or "waterfall" in the word Cho'l. The Misol-ha waterfall has a waterfall of approximately 30 meters high that when falling forms a large pool where with caution it is possible to swim. We will make a stop for you to admire these beautiful waterfalls.
