Itinerary

Nairobi to Masai Mara

  • Maasai Mara National Reserve

    Today, we depart Nairobi at 5:30 AM and drive through the Great Rift Valley Escarpment towards Maasai Mara. Weather permitting, stop-over for a few minutes to take photos. Arrive at your hotel and check in. Carry your picnic lunch and head into the Maasai Mara Game Reserve for a Half Day of Game Viewing. Here, you will search for the Big 5 among others. Time-allowing, drive to the Mara River for a Chance to See the Wildebeest Migration Routes, Hippo Families and Crocodiles. Head back to the camp for dinner and overnight at Sunset. Enjoy a Bonfire at the Camp under the stars, weather permitting.

    After a hearty breakfast, head out for a morning game viewing drive searching for animals not previously seen. After a wonderful time, drive back to the camp for breakfast and check out. Transfer to the local Maasai Village for a Cultural Experience where you get to interact with the families and learn about their way of life. Bid Goodbye to Maasai Mara and drive to Lake Naivasha. Upon arrival, enjoy a buffet lunch. Experience a Boat Ride and a Walking Safari at the Famous Out Of Africa – Crescent Island, where you will have amazing moments with the giraffes, wildebeest and antelopes among others as you enjoy the scenery. Head back to the mainland where you begin your drive back to the Capital Nairobi. On arrival, drop-off at your city hotel/residence or Airport.
