Then continue through the dense savannah with mounds to Tambacounda, a bush crossing town and a major railway stop before Mali. There will be lunch in a typical restaurant at Tambacounda. After lunch, head to Niokolo Koba National Park, reaching out at the wassadou hotel which is at the bank of Gambia River. Great chance to come across the panthers, lion, birds, Antelopes, various species of birds, Warthogs, Monkey, among others. After the guided game drive, grab something for lunch, followed by a departure to the village of Mako. Its’ cascades from a height of 80m in a basin that gives a chance for swimming. Picnic at the foot of the waterfall.
