We pick you up at 5 am from your Nairobi hotel and start a 4-hour drive to Amboseli National Park. You will drive through local villages and the Athi and Emali plains, with beautiful scenery and occasional spotting of wildlife. At 9 am, you will arrive at Amboseli and immediately go on a game drive. Visit the several swamps that dot this park and where wildlife is well concentrated. We will witness impressive herds of elephants foraging, tackling and bathing. Amboseli National Park is home to many species, including African bush elephants, Cape buffaloes, impalas, Maasai lions, cheetahs, spotted hyenas, Maasai giraffes, plains zebras and blue wildebeest, among other African animals. There are also many Kenyan birds, both large and small. Our game drive takes us until lunchtime, when we stop at Oltukai Lodge. At 3 pm, we exit the park with an en-route game drive, heading back to Nairobi arriving at 8 pm. You will be dropped at your Nairobi hotel for a deserved rest.
