Our assistant will provide you the return train tickets for the local train ride (the ride takes approx 45 minutes). Visiting Pompeii, a Unesco World Heritage site takes you back to the past, it's a full immersion in the history.The local expert guide will take you around the ancient town of Pompeii for 2 hours, showing the main public monuments and some of the most famous Houses of Pompeii ruins. Train Departure Second Tour NEW FOR 2026! due to high demand we have added a tour departing 1 hour later. meeting for the Second tour is at 10:15 at the Sorrento train station at the Steps on the Ground Floor.
We now offer 2 Time Slots: One MEET at 09:30 (Train Departs 10:03) & Second tour MEET at 10:15. (Train Departs 10:40) At Sorrento Train Station Important Note: Once Booked online, Timings cannot be changed on the spot, due to Group Size Restrictions

If coming to the Designated Meeting Point from outside Sorrento Due to Heavy Traffic, and any unforseen circumstances, please anticipate your departure to be at the Venue on time.

For bookings with children, you will need to show a copy of a document that shows proof of the child's age This is For free entry to Pompeii Excavations Only( Please Note: you still have to buy child places on our web page). Once on board train, The stop for this tour is POMPEII SCAVI VILLA DEI MISTERI, please do not leave the train at other station. We cannot be held responsible if you board the wrong train or leave the train at the wrong station. Once in Pompeii, Please stay with your Guide From Sorrento. Please do not follow any other indications from third parties in Pompeii, as these are touters and definitely not part of our team.
