Highlights
Experience a 2-hour journey that will have you soaring above three
waterfalls on a total of 4 ziplines, one swing bridge, and all over one of the
most popular white water rafting rivers in NZ, the Kaituna River.
Interacting within a forest on a series of boardwalks, sipping on ancient teas
and becoming a part of our reforestation mission. Guided by two passionate
locals you will fall in love with the best part of Aotearoa - Okere Falls!!
Key points:
- Rotorua Ziplines run every day, except Christmas Day and New Years Day
- Trip times are 9am, 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm and 2pm with others on demand.
In Summer there are additional trips at 8am and 3pm.
- We provide all safety gear, you bring comfortable weather-appropriate
clothing and covered footwear.
- Allow 2 hours
- Age limit: 5 years and above. Those under 18 will need a guardian to sign
for them.
- Weight limit: 130kg
- Child Age: 5 - 12 years,
- Adult Age: 13 and over.
- Senior Age: 65 and above
- All zipliners will need to be able to walk about 400m through the forest on
the boardwalks.
- Unfortunately, we are unable to take those who are pregnant or those with
certain medical conditions. Please be aware that if you are over 127kg we
cannot take you ziplining. If you have any questions regarding this, feel
free to let us know!

Quick reminders:
- What to wear: Please wear covered footwear and dress for the weather. We’ll handle everything else!
- Allow 2.5 hours: This gives you plenty of time to gear up, zip through the forest, and enjoy every moment.
- Facilities: We’ve got free lockers and changing rooms for your convenience.
- Feeling nervous? No worries! Our guides are seasoned pros who love what they do. They’ll teach you everything you need to know so you can focus on having an unforgettable time.
Risk Acknowledgement
Ziplining is an adventure activity that inherently carries risks, including
high speeds, heights, and variable weather conditions. While Rotorua Ziplines
follows strict safety protocols and our guides are here to keep you safe,
risks such as sudden weather changes, slips on platforms, and the inherent
dangers of ziplining at high altitudes do exist. All participants are required
to follow the guides’ instructions and use the safety equipment provided. By
joining, you acknowledge these risks and accept personal responsibility for
your participation in this adventure.
