Admission Ticket IncludedOur driver and tour guide will pick you up at 8am from your hotel, drive about 4.5 hours to Deqin County (3400m altitude) which is 187km away from Zhongdian through Baimang Snow Mountain Nature Reserve, you will be able to view Baimang Snow Mountain if the weather is clear, pass the top part of today at 4292m altitude at 156km. After traversing mountain ranges, you will make a short stop and have lunch at Benzilan town, take some shots on the first bend of Jinsha(Yangtze) River, Dongzhulin monastery and Baima (white horse) Snow Mountain. The view along the way is fantastic with different kinds of trees, streams down the valley, prayer flags and stupas, and Tibetan villages.Feilaisi National Forest Park
40 minsAdmission Ticket IncludedAfter arrival Deqin, pay a visit to Feilaisi. Feilaisi Monastery is a place for Tibetans to pay homage to the sacred mountains. The monastery also serves as a center for many of the activities and festivals held by local Buddhists. 4 hoursAdmission Ticket IncludedIn the early morning, view the magic sunrise of Meili Snow Mountain. After the magic time, you’ll drive about 1 hour to Mingyong Village for Mingyong Glacier. It is a long glacier at Kawagebo Peak, stretching from 6,470 meters to 2,600 meters, with a length of 11.7 meters. At over 13 sq km, Mingyong Glacier is not only the lowest glacier in China but also an oddity - a monsoon marine glacier with tundra, taiga, broadleaf forest and meadow. You’ll take a sightseeing bus for about about 4km to Mingyong Glaciers, and continue your visit to Tibetan Taizi Monastery (2,720 meters) - another good spot to view the magnificent Mingyong Glaciers. They still have the grapes planted by missionaries and old the traditional way of making wine. Then, drive to visit Tongle Village in Yezhi Town, it is a traditional village inhabited by people of the Lisu ethnic group. Tongle is one of the oldest Lisu villages in Weixi.
