Highlights
From the peak are visible the Matale and Alawathugoda town and the mountain ranges that surround a good part of the Matale District, namely Wilshire , Hunnasgiriya, Elkaduwa, Brandy rock Etipola, Muwagala, Ankumbura, Bahirawa kanda (Kandy), Bible rock (Pilimathalawa), Riverton and Owilikanda ranges.
Trekking (06km) maximum time taken for this is around 02 – 04 hours (Depend on the tourist).

The route is across a tea plantation and on the way there are many water streams a small lake and small Hindu kovil. the range itself is home to a variety of birds , animals , local flora
