Larnach Castle is located on the spectacular Otago Peninsula, a 20-minute drive from central Dunedin (please note there is no public transport to the Castle). You may use your entry ticket any time during opening hours. On arrival, simply stop at the Gatehouse to present your voucher. Allow at least two hours to explore the Castle and gardens, however, many guests spend longer than this. Our onsite Ballroom Café is open daily from 9.30am to 4.30pm, serving hot and cold drinks, a delicious range of cabinet food and a full cooked menu (closed Christmas Day). Guided Tours are also available daily at additional cost – enquire at the gatehouse about upgrading to this option. Larnach Castle is open 365 days a year.
