Kensington Palace has been a royal residence for over 300 years. The State Rooms were opened to the public in 1899, thanks to Queen Victoria. Today, it serves as both a private royal residence and a public museum.
Climb the Grand Staircase and see the King's State Apartments and the King's Gallery. Visit the Cupola Room and the Drawing Room.
After exploring inside, walk through the Palace Gardens. Check out the Cradle Walk and see the Sunken Garden, where beautiful flowers grow. All these areas are included on your ticket.

Go to Queensway underground station (Central Line), which is 728 m (0.45 miles) to the palace entrance, approximately a 10-minute walk. High Street Kensington underground station (Circle and District Lines) is 765 m (0.47 miles) to the palace entrance, approximately a 10-minute walk

Did not manage to go for this as my daughter was unwell on the day. Even though I informed the day before the activity, they vendor only waived my daughter's ticket but charged my in full. So the expectation is for me to go. I think it is reasonable to charge a penalty for cancellation less than 24 hours but 30% of the total fees paid would have covered their inconvenience. Highly recommend not booking in advance then. These are activities you can book on the day itself or day before. I like to plan in advance but this experience wasn't great.
