This was the best service out there as the trip included the temple entrance fees. Many of the other lackages don’t include this as they are deceiving. It is NOT easy to get it on your own as there is a daily quota which are frequently bought up by selected travel agencies. The agency was reliable, driver very well prepared and spoke English well.

Well-organised programme with a friendly and knowledgeable guide Yuni. Prior to the day tour, the organiser reached out in a timely manner to reconfirm details and was very responsive to questions and requests. On the day itself, the programme was smooth, with all entry tickets to Prambanan and Borobudur pre-booked. Yuni was not only a great driver but also very knowledgeable about Yogyakarta's history and current affairs, and also a great photographer with the best tips on photo spots within Prambanan. Highly recommended tour.

Great tour to these two amazing tempels. Our driver, Anang, was very friendly and told us a lot about Java and the temples. He showed us also a nice little temple, took us to drink the Luwak coffee and showed us a nice restaurant for lunch.

Yunie was our driver for the day tour, and he was an amazing guide. He is knowledgeable on both Borobodur and Prambanan, and shared with us some tidbits and advice before we visited each temple so we knew what to expect. He also kindly got the ticket collection sorted for us so we didn't have to worry about logistics - we could just focus on sightseeing. Yuni also made detours to let us try some of Indonesia's unique food, such as kopi luwak and snakefruit. It was a great trip overall, highly recommended - even better if your driver is Yuni!

It’s been my dream for decades to see Borobudur & Prambanan. Today my dream came true, and it was better than expected because my driver was Ipung. Professional, knowledgeable, a great communicator and an area expert all in one. And I’ll never forget this day, yes I toured both of these amazing UNESCO World Heritage Sites — and got to the airport in comfortable time to catch my flight.
However, the highlight of my day was being treated like a celebrity — and although I could be saying this because a driver took care of me, even took me to the best place for the best coffee on the planet . I tried Kopi Lewak at an educational shop. Even though the “process” to make this coffee is unusual, its flavor was smooth.
But my celebrity moment — what I am thinking about was quite a very nice and unexpected experience.
Let me explain.
As we were getting near Prambanan, my driver-guide explained that so many Indonesians have visited Prambanan as school children. Teachers make a point to tour this incredible place as a valuable lesson in culture and historical education.
When we arrived, as Ipung was offering me an extra umbrella, because I forgot to bring one, I noticed a bus full of students gathering at the two meter “Prambanan” spelled out at the entrance. Then as we walked to the temples I noticed many school trips.
Because I was not the typical visitor, one of the children, guessed I spoke English and offered his kind greeting in my language, “Hello, Mister.”
He wasn’t expecting a reply, but when I did smile and engage. I got a simple request.
“May I have a photo?”
“Sure.”
Then this happened dozens of times or more. I posed and had the joy to see many happy children. I felt like a celebrity and had so much fun meeting these beautiful & polite & clever children.
As a traveler from the United States, I was another attraction for many curious students. We shared laughter and enjoyment together, and Ipung helped take good pictures so I could remember the day I was a celebrity.
I’ll never forget this experience and how Ipung managed my perfect day in greater Yogyakarta. I hope you get to have conversation and start a friendship with Ipung, I can’t imagine that Java has a better driver and cultural ambassador. She is the best.

We took the 9 am departure and it allowed us to get up at a decent hour! Yes, we did miss the sunrise but it’s ok. The driver / guide spoke good English and drove us safely from place to place. He was also flexible in terms of when to stop for lunch
