Highlights

Located approximately 11 kilometres north of Kuala Lumpur along the Sungai Batu, the comfortable ride leaves the modern city live quickly aside. The origins of the Batu Caves date back to around 400 million years ago when natural elements carved out the three different caves. Each of the caves has a various paintings, statues and religious shrines for devout Hindus. Following in the footsteps of the guide, visitors will learn about the importance of the Batu Caves, its history and how the Batu Caves turn into a crowd of faithful during the festival of Thaipusam. At the end of this half day tour, you will be comfortably brought back to your Kuala Lumpur hotel by your guide / driver.

To enter the Batu Caves, customers are required to follow a certain dress code. This religious site does not allow customers entering the caves wearing short skirts / shorts that do not cover the knees or sleeveless shirts / tops.
Please note pickup and drop-off services may not be confirmed for customers staying at private residences, apartment complexes, or other non-registered tourism accommodations. Customers may be asked to meet at a nearby hotel for pick-up and drop off.
We always will make efforts to confirm the exact pick-up time upon reservation. For any operational issues in which are not able to confirm the exact pick-up time in advance, we reserve the right to inform you the day before the departure of the tour.

We recommend wearing light, comfortable cotton clothing and comfortable shoes. The Batu Caves are closed for visitors during the first 2 days of Chinese New Year (varies per year) and during the holy festival of Thaipusam (3 days, varies per year).
