Swim alongside the largest fish in the ocean in La Paz Bay, in the Gulf of California, where whale sharks return each season to feed in shallow, protected water. You depart from downtown La Paz on a small boat with a certified guide. The encounter takes place at the surface, with snorkel and life jacket, in short authorized turns. HOW THE FOUR HOURS BREAK DOWN About one hour out, around two hours in the encounter zone with two to three water entries, and about one hour back.
