The York Dungeon promises a 75-minute journey into over 2,000 years of York's horrific history! Terrible characters, immersive sets, and spectacular special-effects draw you into this walk-through experience that involves all your senses.
If you don't like things going bump in the night, you'll be glad to know the York Dungeon is also open during the day. This gives you no reason not to immerse yourself in the dark history of York – and England!

The Dungeon tour is run in English to cater to the vast majority of visitors
Non-English speakers will still be able to enjoy the sensory nature of the tours but may not experience the attraction in the same way as those proficient in English

Not quite what we thought. The experience itself was good but heavily geared towards children. The actors were excellent but the entire experience was live interaction with nothing on York Dungeon's history etc. Also some of the rooms were incredibly cramped for the size of our group.
