What's Included

- The Koyasan bus pass is valid for two consecutive days from its first use.
- Reservations are limited to 1 person per reservation.
- From 3:00 AM to 4:30 AM Japan time, QR codes will not be displayed due to maintenance.
Requirements
- It is recommended to use iOS 15+ (with the latest version of Safari) or Android 10.0+ (with the latest version of Chrome) when accessing e-tickets. However, please note that even if you use a recommended browser or system, you may still encounter compatibility issues if your device or environment is incompatible with the website. If you experience any problems, you may need assistance to resolve them.
- Once you have started using a ticket or your ride, we will not issue refunds for any reason.
Other Information
- Please use the dedicated ticket gate for digital tickets. It is not compatible with stations or gates without dedicated ticket gates.
- If you cannot display your digital ticket due to your mobile device being lost, malfunctioning, or running out of battery, you cannot use it. Additionally, we are unable to process any reissues or refunds.
- If you exit at any station, the ticket you used will not be valid for re-entry.
- If you want to take a reserved seat on the train, please purchase a separate limited express or reserved seat ticket.

From December 22 (Mon) to 24 (Wed), 2025, the Koyasan Cable Car will be suspended due to cable replacement work.
① During the cable car suspension period, substitute bus service will be provided between Hashimoto Station and Koyasan Station.
Customers traveling to Koyasan are requested to use the substitute bus service from Hashimoto Station.
② All “Limited Express Koya” trains will be suspended during the cable car suspension period.

Convenient and good with fast redemption
Quite easy to use. However the fare was far higher than buying ala carte. Would not recommend. The express rail to koyasan stn is ¥790 1 way, the bus ride is also quite cheap. Not for travellers staying overnight though. More for day trip out to koyasan, which can be done if trip starts early.
Cheaper to buy ala carte. However it’s convenient cos u didn’t have to line up and figure out how to purchase tickets and where to go.
